To celebrate 30 years of New York City’s favorite deliberately over-lit bar and skate institution, Max Fish, adidas has designed a special footwear collection set to release on July 12.

Back in 2004, Brian Wenning put out an iconic line in Transworld’s video “Subtleties” wearing a pair of chocolate brown Lynx.  It was a clip watched, rewound and studied by skaters everywhere. The shoe he had on in that line happened to be a Lynx 2.  To pay homage to Brian’s legacy, DC re-worked that same colorway on a Lynx OG for the first time ever. This one’s for the culture.  

An ode to New Brunswick with the red white Rutgers colors and Jersey City with the colors of the Jersey City flag. Thanks to the good people at crailtap, Jaime Housel and Rick Howard for the modeling.

Defined by an embossed allover brick pattern, Pass~Port’s new Vans collection is inspired by local spot “Fitzy Plaza” located in Edinsburgh Gardens, North Fitzroy. The burnt red brick community building and the lush green footy fields surrounding the spot were a direct influence on the shoes and jacket design. With custom tongue labels and embroidered Pass~Port logos on the instep and heel, the Sid Pro—a reintroduced 90s Vans style almost exclusively utilized as a silhouette for collaboration—references the digger man motif often seen in Pass~Port graphics and the brand’s retro visuals inspired by skate videos of decades past.
